The former motel is being converted into 27 studio apartments for individuals and veterans experiencing homelessness earning 30% or less of the Area Median Income.

The newly named Palomar Point, represents a new beginning for the property as well as a new beginning for many of our Residents and Veterans,” said Mayor John McCann. “Quality housing is important to our City, as it provides stability and economic opportunity to everyone.” 

The project goal is to bring a full scope of renewed architecture and design to Palomar Point. In hopes of establishing a community designed to provide safety, support, and a foundation for long-term stability. Every space within the residential community will open the door to new possibilities for residents rebuilding their lives.
